Basic Chipper OPERATIONS AND Handling workshop
According to the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) between 1992 and 2002 a total of 31 occupational injury deaths were attributable to mobile brush chippers. 68% of fatalities were the result of being caught or compressed by the chipper, and 29% deaths were the result of being struck by the machine or a machine part. This one-day program will help your employees understand how to work safely with and around a chipper.
The first 1/2 of the day will be theory with hands on learning, the second 1/2 of the day will be fully practical training with the equipment, learning different techniques.
